Kanye West has honoured his Melbourne-born wife Bianca Censori in a series of social media posts for her 29th birthday.
The US rapper took to Instagram to share six private and paparazzi photos of Censori, saying she stood by him “when half the world turned their backs” on him.
West also referred to his four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian as “our children” in the tribute.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful super bad iconic muse inspirational talented artist masters degree in architecture 140 IQ (sic),” he said.
“Loving by my side everyday when half the world turned their backs on me and the most amazing step mom to our children.
“I love you so much thank you for sharing your life with me.”
Along with the photos, West wrote: “I miss you when I wake up before you”, “Flex”, “Caption this” and “Yall know who ran the summer”.
Censori’s younger sister, Angelina, appeared to support the tribute, liking five of the posts.
It comes as West returned to Instagram last week after a hiatus, sharing three revealing photos of Censori.
Up until now, he had never commented on his romantic relationship with the architect who he meet while she worked for his fashion company Yeezy.
The couple were married in a non-legally binding ceremony in December 2022 with reports of Censori’s family holding an “intervention” with her when she returned to Melbourne late last year.
“Her family has never been a fan of Ye, and those close to her have questioned whether marrying him was the right decision,” a source told the US Sun in November.
“He is a very difficult person to be around and work for, and Bianca has been one of the most patient people ever to deal with him. She’s been all about Ye.”
Censori grew up in Ivanhoe, graduated from Carey Baptist Grammar School in 2012 and studied a Bachelors and Masters in Architecture at University of Melbourne.
