LOVE Island’s Justin Lacko has branded his male castmates on the raunchy Channel 9 reality series as crude, blokey “cavemen”.
Successful as a model, Melbourne-based Lacko failed to find a love interest among the single hotties in the Spanish villa where the show — a cross between Married At First Sight and Big Brother Uncut — is set.
X-RATED LOVE ISLAND MOMENT VIEWERS DIDN’T SEE
“Maybe I was not masculine enough, not blokey enough, not crude enough,” Lacko said.
“A lot of those guys in the house, the things that come out of their mouths are quite
f-----g disgusting.
“These women weren’t for me, unfortunately. Maybe they want the cavemen.
“It is their loss, I think I am a catch.”
WHAT REALLY GOES ON UNDER THE DOONA ON LOVE ISLAND
Lacko also expanded on his previous “kangatarian” lifestyle where he ate only kangaroo meat.
“I was a pescetarian and went to kangatarian because kangaroos aren’t farmed and it is a seasonal thing. They get to live and they get to hop around and be happy and merry, so I feel like I can eat them.
“I guess we are all animals and we all hunt, but to know that an animal has had an opportunity to live its life makes me feel better.”
Despite his best efforts, Lacko was “friend zoned” by the Love Island ladies.
“I have always been that guy who has given too much time to getting to know a girl and I have not made a quick enough move and have been friend zoned,” he said.
