KYLIE MINOGUE will return home to Melbourne for the premiere of her latest film, Swinging Safari.
Minogue will be joined by co-stars Guy Pearce, Julian McMahon, Asher Keddie and Radha Mitchell on the red carpet at the Rivoli Cinema in Camberwell, on December 14.
Camberwell is Minogue’s old stomping ground, having attended Camberwell High School prior to her life-changing role in Neighbours where she starred alongside none other than Pearce.
And keeping the associations going, her other co-star, McMahon, is her ex-brother-in-law. McMahon was briefly married to Minogue’s sister Dannii.
Directed by Stephan Elliott, Swinging Safari is described as a love letter to a world of careless parenting, constant sunburn and unsupervised activities set in an Aussie beachside suburb in the 1970s.
