Jane Kennedy will continue to co-host Triple M’s Kennedy Molloy Drive show in her pyjamas from her bed as she slowly recovers from a serious fall after attempting to mount a wildlife night vision camera in her backyard.
Kennedy slipped on wet concrete and hit her head, suffering amnesia and fracturing her sacrum on April 20.
“I am doing fine, I am wearing a neck brace, but you have to be sensible about it,” Kennedy said yesterday.
“Any knock to the head you have to be careful and take it easy.
“Family and friends have been great. There has been an overload of flowers and food and it turns out that home schooling has been more dangerous than I thought it would be.”
“There is a thing called ‘iso accidents’. The staff and doctors at the Alfred hospital were outstanding in taking care of me, but they have seen a number of iso accidents from grown ups as they cope with the world shutting down.”
Kennedy said her co-host Mick Molloy had been very supportive.
“When Mick found out I lost my memory he reminded me of the $10,000 I owe him,” she laughed.
