After an embarrassing ‘white powder’ scandal, Nadia Bartel is tipped to be making a return to TV.
Bartel is one of several headline makers rumoured to be pulling on their party pants for Dancing With The Stars.
Reformed footy bad boy Ben Cousins is the only celebrity contestant so far confirmed for the new season of Channel 7’s Dancing With The Stars which will start filming in Sydney at the end of February.
Bartel, the former wife of Brownlow Medallist and Geelong Cats great Jimmy Bartel, had done a modicum of TV, most notably an amateur striptease on The Full Monty: Ladies’ Night, before she went viral on social media after a friend accidentally posted footage of her snorting a white line off a Kmart plate during the pandemic lockdown of 2021.
There is no official confirmation that Bartel is taking part in the show, or even if she has been approached, and Seven played the “can’t confirm or deny line” when approached on Friday.
But the part owner of the clothing brand Henne has teased she does have a secret project on the boil.
“So, I am in Sydney at the moment and I am doing something fun, it is something that is out of my comfort zone,” she said on Instagram.
“I am really excited to share what it is soon.
“It is actually something that I have been doing for the last few weeks and I have been pretty busy with it and I have not actually been able to go into the office at Henne as much, or do any of my other usual work, but yes, I can’t wait to share with you what I am doing soon.”
A former Olympian and a cricket WAG are also rumoured to be joining the glitzy production as well as the usual representation from Home and Away.
One person who is confirmed to be returning to the show is beloved judge Helen Richey.
Richey will replace Todd McKenney on the judging panel. McKenney is unable to do the show this year owing to commitments with the stage show The Odd Couple.
