Impossible to miss by his side was stunning Melbourne model Jessica Paulke.

Before acing the tennis with Carey, Paulke is believed to have briefly stepped out with Simon Potts, a well-connected man about town who last year was linked to Sophie Monk, prior to Monk seeking, and sadly failing to find, true love on The Bachelorette.

Potts and Carey are long-time friends, and seemingly all is well between them, with the pair and Paulke spotted having a meal in St Kilda last week.

Paulke has made her mark on the WAG red carpet in the past having dated former Geelong player, now Richmond forward Josh Caddy several years ago.

Carey and Paulke, who were seated at the match with two friends, certainly looked at ease with each other, with sources saying they were together but that the relationship was in its very early days.

Noted ladies man Carey, who has been single since splitting with his former fiance, Stephanie Edwards, with whom he has a daughter, 3, declined to comment.
