Karl Stefanovic will be back in front of the camera for Channel 9 within weeks.
Stefanovic, who has had time on his hands since he was removed as host of Today in December while on his honeymoon with new wife Jasmine Yarbrough, will resume filming the feel-good series Same Time Next Year for Nine at the end of the month.
Six days have been put aside at Fox Studios in Sydney from February 26 for the taping of the show.

Stefanovic filmed the first half of the show a year ago, when he met various people facing challenges, or chasing dreams, who pledged to change their life within 12 months.
His interview subjects will now return to the couch a year later to reveal if they have achieved the goals they set at the first taping session.
The show will air on Nine later this year and shapes as a test to see if the one time golden boy of the network can still pull a viewing audience.
Certainly his former show, Today, has not gone ahead in leaps and bounds since his uncermonious departure following his showy Mexican wedding to Yarbrough.
Last Wednesday just 177,000 people from the five state capital cities across Australia tuned in to watch the program with new hosts Deborah Knight and Georgie Gardner.

Those figures are nothing less than horrible and while the new hosting team is still settling in, they clearly need to hit full stride soon.
Meanwhile, Stefanovic’s ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn is poised to make headlines as one of the celebrities taking part in the new series of Dancing With The Stars on Channel 10.
Dancing With The Stars launches on February 18.
