Daniel Ricciardo steps out with rumoured new love, Heidi Berger

A grinning Daniel Ricciardo has appeared to confirm his relationship status with the actor daughter of a motorsport great.

Grand Prix headline-maker Daniel Ricciardo has seemingly confirmed internet rumours that he is dating the actor daughter of a Formula One great.

Ricciardo has been linked to Heidi Berger — the daughter of former Ferrari driver Gerhard Berger — since late last year although neither has splashed their romance across social platforms.

Their relationship status however appears to be a rumour no longer, with Ricciardo posting several photos and a video to social media on Sunday of the pair together.

Berger posted the same video.

The video shows them hiking in California while the snap sees them with friends including fellow Aussie, Jess Hart and her partner James Kirkham.

Ricciardo has been in the US on a brief mid-season break from the F1 circuit.

Ricciardo’s last public relationship was with Jemma Boskovich before they split in 2016. He was linked to model Jessica Gomes in 2018.

While it appears Ricciardo’s personal life is full of happiness, the same cannot be said for his driving career.

His future in F1 is in a state of flux.

Currently sitting 12th in the driver standings, the 33-year-old is yet to work out if he will have a place on the Grand Prix grid next year.

His future with McLaren is uncertain with the team pursuing fellow Australian Oscar Piastri to drive alongside Lando Norris in 2023.

Ricciardo told Speedcafe.com that he believed he deserved to remain in F1.

“I believe I still thrive off it because I still believe I belong (in Formula 1) and can do it,” he said.

“That’s what really gets me jacked.”
