Jordan Ablett has revealed her cherished son Levi is finally home from hospital, after falling victim to two respiratory illnesses.

“Levi is home from hospital and recovering really well. Thank you for sending him so much love,” she posted on her Instagram.

The Abletts had just returned from a holiday on the Gold Coast when Levi became unwell,

with Jordan giving an update on his health last Thursday.

“Not the return we anticipated,’’ she wrote.

“Little man was taken to hospital yesterday morning after almost 3 weeks of struggling to fight something.

“Turns out his little body has been hit with TWO respiratory illnesses at the one time. He’s been resting up and is being cared for by amazing doctors.

“He had a great night sleep (not poor dad though) and is doing better. Our little champ!”

Jordan ended the message with a love heart.

Just last week she shared a heartwarming video of Levi with footy great dad Gary kicking a footy from his pram at Metricon Stadium.

Levi and his little sister, Grace, were basking in sunshine, blowing bubbles and enjoying precious family time together.

Jordan and Gary revealed in 2020 that Levi had been diagnosed with a rare degenerative illness.

Jordan said it was in March that year just after his first birthday while doing a photo shoot that she knew something was off.

They also revealed Levi, 3, has a short life expectancy with the diagnosis.

In an interview with the Herald Sun earlier this year Jordan said Levi, who doesn’t speak, is receiving treatment from the Royal Children’s Hospital and has a “wide team who monitor his health”.

“Due to his condition, one of the biggest concerns for Levi is his respiratory health,’’ she said.

“Low muscle tone and a few other contributing factors, he is far more prone to picking up viruses and unfortunately, doesn’t have the capacity to fight them as well as others his age.”

Jordan urged parents to seek help if they have the slightest doubt about their child.
