Kyle Sandilands’ horror year has continued with his Kyle & Jackie O Show losing out in the radio industry’s top award race to his Sydney stablemates Amanda Keller and Brendan Jones.

Despite sitting on top of Sydney’s breakfast market, KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie Show was beaten to the title of Best On-Air Team by WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda, which runs a distant second to Sandilands and his team in the ratings, at Saturday night’s Australian Commercial Radio & Audio (ACRA) national awards.

Also nominated in the category were Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little, hosts of the Fox FM drive show Carrie & Tommy, Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips from Nova’s Jason & Lauren show, Christian O’Connell from Gold’s Christian O’Connell Show and Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli from Nova Sydney’s Fitzy & Wippa show.
