‘Cash’ lures Billy Brownless back to reality TV

Billy Brownless might not be able to reveal which reality TV show he’s set to star in, but he has been upfront with his motivation for taking the gig: “I want cash”.

Former Footy Show star Billy Brownless is having another crack at reality TV.

Brownless alluded to his new escapade on Triple M revealing he would be off air for a few weeks and had signed a contract that prevented him from spilling the beans on the project.

He also added he was doing the gig because “I want cash” and had no idea where he was going.

With Channel 10 set to begin filming The Amazing Race Australia in early May, it would not surprise if Brownless was one the celebrities hauling a backpack through exotic locations while trying to nut out clues.

It is believed 10 is once again going down the celebrity route with The Amazing Race Australia after the show and its cast, including Bec Judd, Emma Watkins, Jana Pittman, Ben and Jackie Gillies, Peter Rowsthorn and Grant Denyer, were well received by viewers last year.

“I can’t talk about it. I have signed a confidentiality clause and I am not allowed to say too much, but I might be away for a couple of weeks,” Brownless told The Huddle on Saturday.

“I could be flying overseas. I don’t know where I am going.”

Brownless has dabbled in reality TV before, lasting 11 days on 10’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here in 2020.
