Carlton great Brendan Fevola flags a 2023 wedding with longtime love Alex

The next chapter of one of Melbourne’s most unique love stories has been revealed by Carlton legend Brendan Fevola.

Having been married to and divorced from his current fiance — his ex-wife Alex — Brendan Fevola has revealed the couple is planning to get married later this year.

It will be a case of second time’s a charm for the couple who have turned the unconventional into their normal.

Fevola flagged the timeline during an interview with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Fox FM last week as ‘Albo’ was doing the FM radio rounds.

Albo smartly offered a noncommittal “send us an invite” when asked if he would attend.

Brendan and Alex Fevola are setting a date for their second nuptials.

The last thing the PM needs is to become a fixture at celebrity weddings after his much discussed attendance at Kyle Sandilands’ recent nuptials.

Brendan and Alex Fevola tying the knot for a second time would be the culmination of one of the most unique love stories in Melbourne.

There have been plenty of highs and lows in their relationship, from a glamorous wedding in 2005 to a sad divorce in 2014, to a surprise rekindling in 2016 and then a proposal.

Along the way Brendan has adopted Alex’s daughter Mia and the couple have welcomed three children, Leni, Lulu and Tobi.
