Footy Show favourite Shane Crawford has swapped networks, departing Channel 9 to take on a jungle challenge with rival network Ten.
Crawford, 44, is understood to be a surprise addition to Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! cast and will enter the jungle camp on Monday.
While Ten is yet to confirm Crawford’s role on the show, describing it as pure speculation, various sources have confirmed the Brownlow medallist is now in South Africa and preparing to enter the reality competition.

Ten has been heavily promoting that an ex-AFL Footy Show host would be taking on the celebrity challenge.
AFL players such as Dane Swan, Brendan Fevola, Barry Hall and Josh Gibson have previously been great talent on the reality show and embraced by fans and their fellow contestants.
The Hawthorn champion won’t be without friends in the jungle.
Fellow Hawthorn superstar Dermott Brereton, 54, is already on the show.
Other cast members include Justin Lacko, Jacqui Lambie, Sam Dastyari, Justine Schofield, Ajay Rochester, Angie Kent, Yvie Jones, Tahir Bilgic, Luke Jacobz, Natasha Exelby, and Richard Reid.
Crawford is believed to be the first of several intruders joining the show over the next three weeks with Pamela Anderson rumoured as the international star set to shake up the camp later in the series.
Crawford has been a long-time member of Channel 9’s The Footy Show which will air this year as a set of TV specials, rather than a traditional series.
The cast for both The Footy Show specials and Nine’s still-under wraps Thursday night footy offering is yet to be confirmed.
