TV commentator, radio host James Brayshaw to marry in Perth

Footy and media identities will flock to Perth this weekend to celebrate TV commentator and radio host James Brayshaw’s marriage to interior designer Lisa Christie.

TV commentator and radio host James Brayshaw is set to get married in Perth on Friday.

The Channel 7 footy and cricket host has already headed over to the west with his fiancée, Lisa Christie.

Those attending the nuptials include Brayshaw’s Triple M Rush Hour co-host Billy Brownless, Garry Lyon and partner Nicky Brownless, Craig Hutchison and his partner Clare, Brian Taylor, Luke Darcy, Campbell Brown, Nathan Brown, Damian Barrett, Danielle Frawley, Angus Brayshaw and Greg Blewett.

Pies chief executive Craig Kelly is unable to make it.

“Jim’s going around again so second time up, he’s marrying the lovely Lisa who’s planned it all,” Brownless said.

“Got the wedding on the Friday and then on the Saturday going to Rottnest Island.”

It’s a big weekend in Perth with Coldplay playing two shows at Optus Stadium on Saturday and Sunday night.

Brayshaw popped the question in November last year during a whirlwind holiday in Italy.

The couple and their friends visited places including Verona, Lake Garda and Florence, with Brayshaw saying the country was his favourite destination.

“Italy … best country in the world. Daylight second … next level extraordinary!” he wrote on social media.

Christie captioned a selfie of the pair on Instagram: “Best trip yet … hands down! See you soon kids!”

Brayshaw has often joked on social media that Christie is Australia’s luckiest girl and refers to her as the best.

Brayshaw has four sons with his ex-wife of 23 years, Sarah.

Christie, an interior designer, has two children from a previous relationship. She was also once engaged to gardening guru Jamie Durie and has been dating Brayshaw since 2017.
