Tegan Martin: My new relationship is a dream come true
After moving to Melbourne with her last boyfriend, former Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin has found new love with a man, who isn’t even on social media.

Tegan Martin has revealed the new love in her life, describing her relationship as a dream come true.
The Melbourne based model and former Miss Universe Australia has been seeing low key finance worker Luke Andrews for the past five months.
“We met overseas and reconnected last year and when we organised a coffee date I thought I may be a bit too loud as he’s quite quiet,’’ Martin said.
“We ended up sitting there for four hours and really connected. His brother Cary is autistic and he’s the light of everyone’s life.
“One of the first things I noticed was how caring Luke is.
“They are part of a big loving family which is beautiful. They are so fun and supportive. And he’s a really kind and caring soul.”
Martin, 27, had returned to New South Wales to be with her family in Newcastle after her last relationship ended with Blake Worrall-Thompson.
But even before she met Andrews, 29, who isn’t even on social media, she felt convinced her future remained in Melbourne.
“He didn’t know who I was when we met and my initial attraction was his caring and supportive nature,’’ Martin said.
“I didn’t want to add pressure to the dating phase by talking about it. I was living in Newcastle and we were living in different states for a little bit, so I wanted to make sure this was the real deal.

“I had this niggle that I wasn’t done here so I’ve made the leap on my own here and it’s the best decision I’ve made as everything fell into place.
“I didn’t realise Melbourne was such a lively city.
“Luke lives in Albert Park and he’s 200m away from the beach so it’s enough to get my fix.
“I don’t have any desire to move back to Sydney at the moment.
“We’re really happy here.”
