Summer shared a snippet of herself on the set of the Aussie film, directed by Mitchell Law, which follows a group of high school students as they approach their graduation.

Summer’s older siblings Brooke and Jackson are also following new career paths.

Summer has previously talked about the struggles of growing up in the public eye, following her appearance on The Masked Singer last year.

But the youngest of the Warne clan said she was proud to have taken herself out of her comfort zone during her time on the reality singing program, with her late father’s encouragement on her mind.

She sang a touching rendition of Coldplay’s hit Yellow, the song Chris Martin sang at her Dad’s State Memorial service.

“It was a whole mix of emotions, this will be really good for me,” Summer said at the time.

“Dad was basically the reason why I did it. He was my anchor throughout this and I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have his voice in my head.”
