Sam Frost reveals she’s happy as she announces new romance

Sam Frost is having the time of her life in a new relationship and says she feels “happy and free” after copping backlash for her Covid jab concerns.

Sam Frost has found love again and is feeling “happy and free”.

The former Home and Away star has settled in Melbourne closer to family, revealing she is dating a friend of her brother Alex.

“I am seeing someone, it’s really fun and I’m really happy, he treats me really well,’’ Frost said.

“I feel really lucky that I’ve met him at a really great time in my life.

“We’re happy, cruising along doing our thing and having adventures.

“He’s a friend of my brother’s and it’s awesome because he gets along well with my family, and my brother and him are really good mates.

“I get very hesitant dating and I can be quite reserved in that aspect of things but my brother has said he’s genuine. When I was sussing the vibe, my brother’s like, he’s a really genuine guy and down to earth and what you see is what you get. My brother spoke highly of him and he’s a good judge of character and he’s got his tick of approval so I’m happy with that.”

Frost split from Survivor contestant and personal trainer Jay Bruno in November and previously dated Dave Bashford.

She has launched her memoir Believe, where she opens up about her mental health struggles.

With her sister Kristine, she launched Believe by Sam Frost, an online community focusing on mental health.

Frost was formerly dating Survivor contestant Jay Bruno.

Frost drew widespread criticism last year following a controversial Instagram post about her Covid vaccine hesitancy. She has now been vaxxed but is still conscious of the fallout.

“I’m happy and free and I have shared my experiences which might help people struggling with depression or anxiety and social media,” Frost said.

“My sister helped co-write it. She’s a youth mentor and we give tips and realistic advice on how to get through challenging times.

“I need social media for work and to promote things I’m doing and to stay in touch with friends and family but life would be so much easier off the grid.

“I do have a phone that just calls and texts so you don’t have apps and I love using that.’

Frost has just returned to TV in a new travel series, My Road to Adventure where she and her sister travelled through their favourite parts of Victoria.
