Richmond star and double-premiership player Dylan Grimes has capped off a stellar year by wedding long-time love Elisha Rodriguez.

The couple tied the knot at their venue, Mount Macedon Winery, on Saturday and didn’t let torrential rain dampen their spirits as they partied with loved ones.

The bride, 27, donned a plunging gown with thigh-high split by Melbourne couturier Silvana Tedesco, which was embellished with beads and delicate floral appliques.

Their beloved golden retriever, Gus, joined the bridal party, delighting guests.

Cotchin’s wife, Brooke, was also in the bridal party, sharing a photograph of her fellow bridesmaids with three-month-old baby Parker.

Past and present Tiger teammates Tom Lynch, Brandon Ellis, Nick Vlastuin, Kamdyn McIntosh, Toby Nankervis, Jayden Short and Nathan Broad, along with skipper Trent Cotchin, were on the star-studded guest list.

Megan Gale, whose husband Shaun Hampson was on Richmond’s list for five years, was also among the guests.

The relaxed nuptials saw guests dine on food truck nibbles, before ending the night around the fire pit.

The new Mrs Grimes described Saturday as “easily the best day of our lives”, thanking loved ones for their well wishes.

“You all made yesterday a day that we will cherish forever in our hearts and we are so incredibly grateful,” she wrote.

Dylan and Elisha Grimes purchased the scenic 32ha venue at the foot of Mt Macedon in 2016.

From lambing and winemaking to the occasional snowfall, the duo has documented the highlights and rigours of country life with fans online.
