Michael Clarke’s ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards will step out at the Australian Open this weekend.
Edwards, who became embroiled in an ugly stoush caught on camera between the former Australia cricket captain, his current partner Jade Yarbrough and TV personality Karl Stefanovic, is expected to attend the women’s final as a guest of Piper-Heidsieck and possibly the men’s final.
The fitness and fashion influencer who founded the brand P.E Nation, has often made the trip to be courtside.
She had been in contact with Jade, which sparked the confrontation between her and Clarke.
Edwards was furious about the “debacle”.
“This is not my circus,” she said.
“Yet again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to.”
Edwards dated Clarke between 2020 and 2021. In the midst of the drama she attended the Elton John concert in Sydney on Wednesday night.
Edwards is one of the big names expected to attend at the weekend, but despite efforts to get him there, Hollywood actor Zac Efron is not due in Melbourne until next week to start filming R-rated comedy Ricky Stanicky alongside WWE star John Cena.
Ryan Gosling, currently filming in Sydney, is also being sounded out, as is billionaire Bill Gates who is a big tennis fan, while Billie Jean King will be on site this week.
On Monday Emirates hosted Ryan Gallagher and Emily Seebohm plus comedians Dave Hughes and Ash Williams while Brooke Hogan attended with Ralph Lauren.
TV host Julia Morris attended with Piper-Heidsieck while at night James Hird and wife Tania were in the O hospitality and Chris Judd sat in the on-court Piper-Heidsieck seats.
