Olympia Valance and Thomas Bellchambers tie the knot in picturesque ceremony

Newlyweds Olympia Valance and former Essendon footballer Tom Bellchambers have revealed special details of their picturesque Daylesford wedding.

Olympia Valance has paid tribute to her husband, former footballer Thomas Bellchambers, for making her the happiest girl on the planet.

After their picturesque wedding on Sunday at The Farm in Daylesford, Valance revealed their joy and deep love.

“There are so many people I want to thank for making the most incredible day of our lives beyond perfect, but for now this post is just about you @thomas—bellchambers,’’ she wrote on social media on Tuesday.

“Thank you for making me the happiest girl on the planet. Thank you for choosing me. Thank for loving me. Thank you for being you. I love you with every morsel of my being. And I am so proud to be your wife.”

The happy couple exchanged vows before 250 family and friends with Valance stunning in a sheer lace gown by Melbourne couturiers, J’Aton, with a line of pearls draping her elegant veil.

She was walked down the aisle by her father Ryko Valance and her stepfather, rocker Ross Wilson.

Former Bombers ruckman Bellchambers posted: “My wife for life”.

They were both flooded with comments of congratulations and love heart emojis.

Bellchambers, 32, met actor Valance, 29, on exclusive dating app Raya in autumn 2019. Three years later they have set up a life between Melbourne and Daylesford and cemented their love during a beautiful day of celebrations.

Among guests were Bellchambers’ former Essendon teammates, groomsman Cale Hooker, plus Dyson Heppell, Dustin Fletcher, Jake Melksham, Andrew Welsh, David Zaharakis, Michael Hibberd, Angus Monfries, Adam Ramanauskas, Sam Draper, Michael Hurley, Jobe Watson and former assistant coach Mark Harvey.

The wedding party featured Bellchambers’ brothers and Valance’s two younger sisters in the ceremony, as well as her friends Sophia Pafitis, her partner Justin Kestelman, and Lauren Mackellar.

Before the ceremony, Valance’s mother Tania Gogos-Wilson posted an adorable image of her holding newborn Olympia with the caption: “My baby is getting married today”.

After the wedding she posted: “I have a new son”.

Bellchambers said their love grew instantly.

“It was a bit of a fairytale love story from there, really … I’m pretty sure after a first couple of dates, Olympia basically moved into my apartment, and the rest is history,’’ he told Stellar.

Valance told the Herald Sun she was excited for all the planning to be done.

They will honeymoon in Greece.

“I am excited, I’m actually just excited for all the planning stuff to be over and to just really enjoy the day because it’s been a lot of planning in a short amount of time,’’ Valance said.

“I don’t know where the time went. Thomas and I came up with a date and a month ago, it was like wow, it’s almost here.”

Valance last week said she had forgotten about stationery, the name tags for the tables and a seating chart, but everything looked perfect.

At her hen’s two weeks ago, she wore a piece by Con Ilio and felt like a true bride-to-be.

“It was the most unbelievable outfit I’ve seen,’’ she said.

“He did it in a day. I went in, he took my measurements and I went back and it was just perfect.”
