Television presenter Jennifer Keyte’s son James is moving into the spotlight — as a model.
The 1.98-metre (6’6) tall teenager and business studies student has signed to FRM Models, the agency that represents Melbourne-raised New York-based supermodel Ajak Deng.
“I’ve always had an interest in fashion, design and the creative side,” James Keyte said.
“I’ve wanted this express this creative outlet for a while, and thought I may as well give it a shot.”
He knows about life in the public eye, given his mother’s distinguished career at Channel Seven, and now at 10 News First, adding: “I want to bring who I am, and express my own style and brand. I’m excited and want to explore all the possibilities.”
James said his parents have been supportive about his choice to hit the catwalks and catalogues.
“Mum really pushed me to go for it,” he said.

Proud mum Jennifer said: “I’m very happy for James to be joining FRM. They represent a huge range of people.”
James has signed to the agency’s “tall and aspirational” roster.
FRM boss Stephen Bucknall said Keyte’s good looks and height will play well with fashion clients here and overseas.
