As if Carlton fans haven’t had enough problems.
Now Bec Judd says her son Oscar, 7, with Blues’ favourite son Chris Judd, prefers cricket to football.
“He actually prefers cricket — that’s his No. 1 sport and it’s more suited to his personality,’’ she said on Friday at Crown’s annual Mother’s Day lunch.
“I don’t want to break Carlton hearts, but I think if we see Oscar Judd do anything, it’s going to be cricket. He does love footy and he’s a great little player, but he just prefers cricket.”
Judd said she loved cheering him on.
“I’ve missed supporting someone I love. It gave me that same feeling I got when I watched Chris. I didn’t think I would get it with underage footy, but I think I’m going to like the supporting adventure with the kids.”
Judd joined guests hosted by Ann Peacock, supporting The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
