IT IS official. Jennifer Keyte will present Channel 10’s nightly 5pm news bulletin in Melbourne from next Monday — and Stephen Quartermain won’t be part of the action.
The new-look Keyte, fresh from a styling makeover was busy filming her first on-air promotion for network ahead of Monday’s debut.

Ten insiders say that Quartermain is taking some pre-planned leave for three weeks and is yet to come to any firm agreement about his future role at the network.
Ten is reportedly very keen for Quartermain to continue with Ten News but talks won’t happen until he takes a breather and returns from leave.
Mike Larkin will continue as weather presenter.
Keyte, who switched from Seven, is relaxed ahead of Monday’s first bulletin saying: “It feels great to be part of the Ten Eyewitness News team again — I can’t wait to start.
“I’ll be working with such an experienced news team, including many old friends.”
All eyes will be on the OzTAM ratings on Tuesday morning to see whether Ten’s move to replace Quartermain is a winner or not.
Quartermain has told of being shattered by the shock decision.
