Jackson Warne says he’s building his own confidence which is a trait he finds attractive in others.
The son of cricket legend Shane Warne, Jackson has been a revelation on SAS Australia as the youngest person challenging himself.
Warne, 21, has made it into the WHO Sexiest People Issue, released on Thursday.
“There are still things I am self-conscious about, but my confidence is slowly getting better after trying new things and bettering my health and fitness,’’ he said.
“After a tough workout, that’s when I’m feeling my strongest and most confident.”
MasterChef judge Melissa Leong is on the cover and recognised for being “unapologetically herself”.
Warne says someone sexy to him is “confident, classy and fun”.
“Someone who is driven, independent and trying to achieve their goals no matter who they are,’’ he adds.
As for himself, he feels sexiest: “After a tough workout — that’s when I’m feeling my strongest and most confident.”
He says his inspiration is Aussie actor and bodybuilder Calum Von Moger.
“He inspired me to start training when I knew nothing about working out or the gym,’’ Warne said.
“Calum was the person I watched for inspiration, what exercises to do and he made the gym look fun. And I also got the chance to meet him and he was a great bloke. Plus he’s an Aussie.”
