The Fox family was in celebration mode on Saturday as Harry Fox, the grandson of business tycoon and philanthropist Lindsay Fox, got married.
Harry wed his love Kristen Fowler in a stunning ceremony draped in white flowers and with plenty of flying confetti, at the Toorak residence of the billionaire trucking magnate.
The couple’s reception then took place at the State Library Victoria with former Channel 10 weatherman and celebrant Mike Larkan the proud MC of proceedings, with music by DJ Perri Lee and violinist Sally Cooper.
Harry’s father, Andrew Fox, is the son of Lindsay and wife Paula.
The bride wore two stunning white gowns with tables decorated in white and gold, with the head table labelled “Mr and Mrs Fox”.
Fowler, a model who works as a senior associate at PwC Australia, wore a white off-the-shoulder gown by Mariana Hardwick for the ceremony.
Guests at the wedding included footballers Luke McDonald and Jack Billings plus actor Krista Vendy and members of the Hachem and De Lutis families.
The newlyweds, who got engaged in March, were on board the 650 feet, MV Seabourn Quest, a few months ago when Fox celebrated his 85th birthday.
Fox’s yacht set sail from New York to Montreal with a boatload of mates joining he and wife Paula.
Among the business and social names celebrating were Lord Mayor Sally Capp, Eddie McGuire, David Evans, Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest, Solomon Lew, John Gandel, Andrew Bassat, Luke Sayers, Rod Eddington, Kevin Sheedy plus Linfox board members Bill Kelty and Simon Crean.
