A wildcard entrant at this year’s Australian Open, the former world no. 1 will make her 16th appearance at Melbourne Park.

She will also play at Kooyong next week along with Caroline Wozniacki, CoCo Vandeweghe and Ajla Tomljanovic.

“Hi Melbsss, you’re always a fun stop. So fun, I forgot to change out of my pj’s. Thank you @ngvmelbourne for putting together so many stunning works under one roof. Keith Haring / Jean-Michael Basquiat / Crossing Lines open through April.”

Sharapova then put out a call to her followers to suggest other places she should visit while in town.

She posted pictures and videos through the exhibition. In the past she has been seen exploring the city laneways and local beaches.
