Former Bachelor winner Alex Nation announces pregnancy

ALEX Nation failed to find true love on reality TV, but the former Bachelor winner has debuted a new romance and a pregnancy within two months.
Nation revealed her baby joy on Instagram on Sunday night, captioning a picture of her growing belly: “I wonder if you’ll have your Father’s eyes? Will you be stubborn like your Mother? See you soon little darling.”
Nation, who has been unlucky in love after appearing on both The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, posted loved up pictures in December with her new beau, tiler Carson Jory.
“Nice to meet you Mr Jory,’’ Nation captioned a series of intimate pictures.
She also posted another picture of her and Jory last month, and has been flooded with well wishes from followers.
Nation, who won the heart of Richie Strahan in 2016, has a 10 year-old son named Elijah.
She has said her reality TV days are well behind her.
After she split with Strahan she started dating a woman, Maegan Luxa, who she played footy with in Frankston.
They announced their engagement in December 2017 but they split the following April.
“It’s when I met you that something clicked,’’ Nation posted of Luxa at the time.
“There was a shift within me and I knew everything was about to change in the most beautiful way.
“You gave me a safe place to discover and understand who I am. You were there when it all made sense and you were there when none of it did.”
Nation then went on Bachelor in Paradise in 2019 and had a short-lived romance with Bill Goldsmith. She also had an awkward reunion with Strahan on the show.
“I never want to be defined by that show. I’ve done everything I can to rebrand and just be me,’’ she said.
Nation made her acting debut last September when she made a cameo appearance in Drunk History Australia, playing the first Miss Australia, Beryl Mills.
“I’ve never taken acting lessons,” she told Confidential.
“My lessons were me standing in front of a mirror, and trying to bring (the character) to life.
“I jumped at this because she was a character I could totally harness and be responsible for.
“Her outspoken view that women should be heard and seen; I loved that.
“It’s so different to being on reality TV. I really worked hard for Beryl.”
