A new footy glamour couple has emerged after Collingwood premiership star Tom Mitchell “hard launched” his new partner on social media.
Mitchell posted pictures from his getaway to Byron Bay featuring cosy images with blonde beauty Tayla Brown.
Mitchell, who is sidelined with a foot injury, thrilled his followers and close friend, basketball star Josh Giddey, with the public display of affection.
“Hard launch. I like it,” Giddey commented.
In one picture Mitchell and Brown are dining with recently engaged Magpies ruckman Darcy Cameron and his fiancee, Adriana Guevara Paez. In others, he and Brown are working out as he dubbed the trip a reset.
Mitchell, Brownlow medallist and multiple All-Australian, developed his friendship with NBA star Giddey after meeting a few years ago.
The 31 year-old midfielder’s passion project, Ball Magnets, the training app he has built with two other Brownlow Medallists – Lachie Neale and Patrick Cripps – and two-time AFLW league best and fairest winner Erin Phillips, has expanded into basketball after signing Giddey who grew up in Melbourne as a Hawks supporter.
Giddey is in town for two Boomers matches against China this week ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Mitchell replied to Giddey on Instagram: “launch that 3 ball tomorrow”.
