Celebrities enjoy the Australian Open men’s final

Hollywood stars, singers and sporting legends flocked to Rod Laver Arena, while Bear Grylls faced off with Nick Kyrgios in a game of table tennis.

Celebrities were out in force at the Australian Open on Sunday night as the men’s final served up rows of VIP guests.

Among the famous faces enjoying the match between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev were politicians, actors, models, singers, business leaders, sporting stars and international guests.

Australian actor Liam Hemsworth and his partner Gabriella Brooks led the stylish arrivals at Ralph Lauren, and also sat in the premium on-court seats.

They mingled with actors Phoebe Tonkin, Sophie Wilde, William Lodder, Josh Heuston, Sam Corlett, Bella Heathcote, Aisha Dee and models Georgia Fowler and Victoria Lee.

Also there were Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Christine Centenera and Portuguese actor Daniela Melchior who is currently filming Anaconda in Queensland with Paul Rudd and Jack Black.

Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor joined Aussie tennis legend John Newcombe to unveil the men’s trophy on Rod Laver Arena.

Aussie actor Geoffrey Rush made a rare appearance in the Emirates suite alongside son James, dining with Brooke and Myles Pitt, Ricky and Rianna Ponting and Matt Ford and Jack Steele of the Inspired Unemployed.

Rush was in good spirits and is a keen tennis fan.

Movie star Jackie Chan returned after attending the women’s final.

Singer Tones and I was in the crowd, also in the on court seats, while Australian of the Year Neale Daniher was given a standing ovation pre-match.

British adventurer Bear Grylls watched on, as did Melbourne based actor Eric Bana and his wife Rebecca, plus Ian Thorpe and tennis greats Margaret Court, Ken Rosewall and Mark Edmondson.

Grylls caught up with Nick Kyrgios for a game of table tennis before the game.

Swimming champion Emma McKeon was a guest of Marriott Bonvoy along with tennis legend Ash Barty and cricket great Brett Lee.

There were massive crowds trying to catch a glimpse of K-pop stars Mark Lee and Sana Minatozaki.

Australian cricket’s new Hall of Fame member Michael Clarke was courtside with partner Arabella Sherborne as guests of Piper-Heidsieck.

Businessman Lindsay Fox also enjoyed the action, as did French Olympic swimming champion Leon Marchand, crypto gaming billionaire Ed Craven, along with Chris and Sarah Lucas, Matt Gudinski, Paul Dainty and Mark Webber.

Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles was a guest of Tennis Australia, as was deputy Victorian premier Ben Carroll.
