Former Melbourne star Brad Green and Channel 10 sport presenter Caty Price are expecting their first child.
The couple, who have been together for three years, announced the happy news they are expecting a son on social media on Wednesday.
“Baby Green/Price coming 2023,’’ Green wrote on a picture of the ultrasound.
Green has two sons, Oliver and Wilba, from his marriage to late wife Anna, who passed away suddenly in 2019.
“And then there were three,’’ Price wrote with three white love hearts.
Green, who grew up in Tasmania, played 254 games for Melbourne, captained the club and has coached at Carlton and North Melbourne. He is currently on the Demons board.
Price was a sports reporter in Perth and moved to Melbourne five years ago.
She reports and presents on Ten News First and is also a key part of Ten’s broadcast team for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
They first attended an event together in February 2020 at the Blue Diamond Ball at Caulfield Racecourse.
Price has taken on a big role in the lives of Green’s two sons with Green paying tribute to her.
“Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same,’’ he wrote on her birthday last year.
“The boys and I love you so much,’’ he said earlier this month.
He also joked that he’d need a bigger boat for the three boys.
