Brendan Fevola is set to fight Cameron Mooney for charity

Brendan Fevola has lifted the lid on daughter Mia’s relationship with Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, sharing what the young footballer is like around the home.

Fev and Ugle-Hagan have a kick of the footy

Brendan Fevola has opened up about his daughter Mia’s relationship with Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, revealing the Bulldogs no. 1 draft pick does the dishes and washing at home.

It comes as Fev gets ready to embark on an intense training routine to fight three-time premiership forward Cameron Mooney.

The former Carlton and Brisbane sharpshooter said he’s taken up an offer from player manager Liam Pickering to get in the ring in a likely bout against the former Geelong and North Melbourne goalkicker.

It is set to be staged with others on the card around November in Bendigo and televised on Fox Sports.

“I’m going into training so I’m in,” Fevola told Triple M footy.

“He’s going to smack me but that’ll be fun.

“Pickers rang me … he said we want you to fight.

“It’s all for charity and I don’t care if I get hit. I’ve got 18 ounce gloves and headgear and (I’ll) do the right amount of training, I’m going to do 10 weeks minimum. I’m going to start early and hopefully I’ll put up a good fight.”

FOX FM breakfast show co-host Fevola said he had wanted to fight Dipper or Billy Brownless. But Mooney, now a Fox Footy commentator and also a father of four, will be a tough opponent.

Fevola, who intends to play some games this season with Deer Park, also opened up about his daughter Mia dating Western Bulldogs no. 1 draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

“He does the dishes, he washes, he does everything, he’s amazing,” Fevola said.

“He’s got some strings to his bow I’ve got to give it to him. Good kid.”

He recently posted some videos kicking the footy with Ugle-Hagan quipping: “I’m teaching a new Pup old tricks.”

“They didn’t take him to Perth which I thought was a mistake,’’ Fevola said.

“I thought that he’d go with the team to Perth on Sunday even if he wasn’t to play, as a young kid to travel with the team and realise how the inner sanctum of a footy club works.

“But they left him behind so I thought I’d take him for a kick and I’d never really watched him play before.

“He moves well and he’s got a great left foot. Looking forward to him finally getting his chance hopefully later on in the year.”
