Chrissie Swan, Sam Pang and Jonathan Brown have drawn level with Christian O’Connell as the top FM breakfast show in the latest radio ratings.

The Nova trio capitalised on its gains from the last survey to equal the GOLD FM host on 8.0, with O’Connell dropping 0.3 but still remaining at No.1 for the eighth consecutive survey.

FOX FM’s Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody were just behind on 7.9 while KIIS FM’s Jase and PJ recorded the highest jump, from 5.6 to 7.4.

Polly ‘PJ’ Harding is set to finish up this month after three years, and will return to New Zealand on a high. It’s believed Lauren Phillips will replace her as co-host.

Triple M’s Marty Sheargold fell from 6.2 to 5.8 while smoothfm dropped lower to 5.2.

Overall 3AW was still king of breakfast, with Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft recording a 20.1 share, and ABC on 11.1.

GOLD FM was still the big winner in mornings, afternoons and drive, although drive was only a slight win over Nova’s Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey.

FOX FM’s Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little rose slightly to 8.9 while Mick Molloy on Triple M recorded 4.9.

3AW’s figures were marginally down in some slots, but along with ABC, will no doubt grow following another Melbourne lockdown.

Sports station SEN fell across the board except in breakfast, with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson rising this time and going from 3.1 to 3.2. Gerard Whateley in mornings fell 0.5 to 3.3.
