Block star trolled after cheating scandal

Trolls have launched a vile and racist attack on Sharon Johal after the former Neighbours star was accused of cheating on The Block.

Sharon Johal has exposed the shocking abuse she’s received on social media after calling out her villain edit on The Block amid a cheating scandal.

Johal posted the trolls’ vile messages, with one writing: “You filthy cheating Indian c---! Get out of our f---ing country”.

The content got even worse, with another racist message reading: “You probably should have stuck to cooking curry in the kitchen”.

It comes after the couple were accused of using Google to win $50,000 worth of prizes during a winemaking challenge on Tuesday.

They managed to recreate a near-identical wine blend and were questioned by hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft.

“It led us to the idea that maybe you knew how to make it,’’ Craft said.

Ankur said: “No, so we basically drank a lot of that during Covid; it’s one of my favourite wines. Shazza’s dad is a winegrower and makes his own wine”.

Cam is heard saying in the promo: “They’ve lied to us … Why don’t they own it?”

Sharon and Ankur created their blend in just 10 minutes while runners up Dylan and Jenny took two hours to mix theirs.

Johal received support from last year’s contestant Tanya Guccione who was also at the centre of a cheating scandal.

She commented: “I see u girl! And I’m here with you cheering you both on! Hold your head up high!”
