Former footy player Daniel Gorringe has had his most emotional moment yet on Big Brother, reuniting with his girlfriend and professing his love for her.
The former Gold Coast and Carlton player was given a surprise a video call with Ana Cannon and the tears flowed.
“We’re not engaged, it’s not official,’’ Gorringe said.
“Big Brother is a big hurdle and once we jump that hurdle we’ll reassess.
“I love her with all my heart and she’s the best thing to happen to me. She makes me a better person and she’s someone I want to spend the rest of my life with and once we get through this she is someone I want to be with forever.
“I’m an emotional kind of guy and a big softie.”
Gorringe and Cannon split at the end of last year and it was Cannon who encouraged him to enter the house while they were working out their issues.
A frontrunner on the show, he said it was weird watching it back.
“What I remember happening is a little bit different to what came across on the TV screen but the last week has come across a lot better,’’ he said.
“The whole thing is nerve racking, there’s been no point I’ve been comfortable. I’m always on edge.”
