Bec Judd’s influencer power has helped her friend’s label sell out.
After the mum of four wore the chic double denim outfit of Dutch Clothing on Thursday night, the brand founded seven years ago by Barbara Licuria, scored its biggest break and has sold out of the item.
Judd attended the launch of Lana Wilkinson’s new shoe collection — supporting two of her friends on the same night.
“The power of a high-quality on trend and affordable product can be significant, and when worn well and promoted by a stylish influencer with a huge following it’s so influential what it can do to a small brand like mine,’’ Licuria said.
“It’s unbelievable What Bec touches really turns to gold and I’m so proud of her and what she’s achieved and the impact she makes. The visibility and traction is rapid and that is what we have seen, we sold out in hours — our customers have come from everywhere thanks to Bec.
“From all over Australia and from Dubai and Singapore. I’m so blessed to call Bec a friend and am grateful for the support. The camaraderie of women supporting women is enormous and we need to do more of this.”
Licuria, the wife of former Collingwood star Paul Licuria, started the label as Little Dutch Clothing in 2016 and has given it a stylish transformation driven by customer feedback.
The brand, known for its street wear staples, including hoodies, track sets and tie-dye tees, has combined urban attitude with street style.
Her latest collection called Beach to Bar, comprises contemporary and ready to wear 14 pieces.
