Self-confessed superfans of The Amazing Race, Bec Judd and her sister Kate Twigley, are packing their passports to compete on the first Australian celebrity version of the competition.
“Kate and I have been fans of the race since we were in high school,’’ Judd said.
“We love that the focus is on incredibly fun challenges in beautiful parts of the world.”
Alongside 11 teams of celebrities, Judd said the sisters are excited by the challenge of the once in a lifetime opportunity.
“Highly competitive mums with a few lols along the way,’’ she said, adding it’s the “excitement of the challenge and doing it together as sisters”.
Kate said the duo will be competitive and will “give anything a go”.
The winning contestants of the show hosted by Beau Ryan, will secure $100,000 for their chosen charity.
Judd and Twigley are competing for the legacy of their friend Nicole Cooper, who passed away earlier this year with bowel cancer. The charity is Impatient Advocacy- A Nicole Cooper Foundation.
Other competitors include Grant and Chezzi Denyer, Ben and Jackie Gillies, Jana Pittman and her son Cornelis and Emma Watkins and her sister Hayley.
