Patrick and Monique Cripps became parents to daughter Koda in April last year and the newest addition is Myles, the second child for Sam and Nat Docherty.
“It’s great being a father of two, it’s a little chaotic, but Myles is feeding and sleeping well,’’ Sam said.
“I am really enjoying adjusting to what our new family dynamic is, it’s a busy life but Nat and family are great so we are doing well.
“Having kids in the rooms post-game: I remember when I was younger, seeing the kids of the older players, like Marc Murphy and Bryce Gibbs, running around the rooms, I used to love that.
“So, to be in that stage at the back end of my career with players of a similar age is very special. When Ruby was just born, having both her and Nat in the rooms post-game, it was really nice. It makes the wins more enjoyable when you have those people to share it with.”
Jack Silvagni, who welcomed son Charlie in September with wife Grace, said it gave him a new perspective on life.
“My wife Grace has been amazing, and Charlie is so great,’’ Jack said.
“You can have an ordinary day or something not going well in life, and he smiles and everything just feels better. I always can’t wait to get home to him after training, he’s the best.”
Also nursing newborns are Mitch McGovern with Addison; Adam Saad with Nyah; George Hewitt with Henry; Zac Williams with Beckham; Nic Newman with Audrey; Blake Acres with Hugo and Orazio Fantasia with Sofia.
