Aussie singer G Flip has revealed Tones And I was behind the hot hook up with reality star Chrishell Stause that’s made headlines.

Australian singer G Flip has revealed superstar Tones And I played matchmaker with new love, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.

The romance has made worldwide headlines after Stause confirmed she was in a relationship with the non-binary Melbourne muso.

G Flip, who is a footy mad Collingwood supporter, told the Herald Sun recently: “Me and Chrishell, we’ve been hanging out a lot, we met through Tones And I.

“She has not been to Australia but I think she’ll come at some point.”

G Flip said they have bought a place in LA and was loving spending more time there for work.

Stause shared news of their connection on the Netflix series’ season five reunion special last week. She first hung out with G Flip while starring in their untitled music video.

In a clip from the video, Stause is seen sharing a kiss with the “GAY 4 ME” singer.

“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me,” she said during the episode, which premiered on Netflix on May 6.

“Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by they/them.

“They are an extremely talented musician and it started because, you know, I was just going to be in their video and it’s about this chaotic love story.

“I love acting and, with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. And so at first, of course, I was like, ‘Yes! Let’s do that.’”

The real estate agent described working on the video as “so much fun” and she “had a blast.” During the reunion a sneak peek of the video was played.

Chrishell was previously in a relationship with her broker and co-star Jason Oppenheim.

The two went public with their romance in July and announced their split five months later, with Stause saying their thoughts on starting a family were “ultimately not being aligned.”

G Flip has previously been linked to the Bachelorette Brooke Blurton.
