Former Bachelor winner Alex Nation has welcomed her second child, a baby boy named Maxwell.

Nation shared the happy news on social media with a sweet photo of her cradling the little bub alongside partner Carson Jory.

“20.08.21. 3.20pm. Maxwell Keegan Jory,” she wrote.

“His entrance was intense and it was beautiful. We are so in love.”

Nation announced she was pregnant in late January after revealing her new relationship last December.

She failed to find true love on reality TV, but she has shown her happiness this year after moving countryside with her tiler beau Jory.

Nation previously posted with her growing belly: “I wonder if you’ll have your Father’s eyes? Will you be stubborn like your Mother? See you soon little darling.”

Alex is already a doting mum to 10-year-son Elijah from a previous relationship.

While keeping followers up to date on her second pregnancy, she said it had been entirely different to her first.

“Naive little me assumed that this journey would mirror my first. My entire pregnancy with Elijah was a breeze!” she wrote.

“I’ll be honest, I was finding it incredibly hard to enjoy the beginning of my pregnancy and at times it got me down.”

Nation, who won the heart of Richie Strahan in 2016, also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise in 2019 where she had a short-lived romance with the current Bachelorette Brooke Blurton and then Bill Goldsmith.

After Nation split with Strahan she started dating her AFL teammate, Maegan Luxa, with whom she played footy in Frankston.

They announced their engagement in December 2017 but separated the following April.

She has said her reality TV days are well behind her.

“I never want to be defined by that show. I’ve done everything I can to rebrand and just be me,’’ she said.

Nation made her acting debut last September when she made a cameo appearance in Drunk History Australia, playing the first Miss Australia, Beryl Mills.
