After a tough few months, Olympia Valance is smiling again thanks to a surprise from partner Tom Bellchambers while the pair travel through Queensland.

Olympia Valance and Tom Bellchambers are engaged.
The recently retired Essendon ruckman proposed to the TV actor while they are on their roadtrip through Queensland.
“Today is a special day. The man of my dreams proposed to me. I get to marry my best friend,” Valance wrote on Instagram.
The engagement, a picnic proposal, is welcome news for Valance who was a victim of a cyber crime last month and has put a harrowing phone hacking incident behind her.
The loved-up couple have taken a camper van along the Queensland coast, before returning to Victoria.
Bellchambers wrote: “Couldn’t be happier.... stuck with me now.”
Valance opened up about her tough time.
“It’s been a very, very tough year, but the outpouring of support has been truly incredible, and the amount of love and care and positivity has really made an extremely difficult situation a little more bearable for me,” she told the Herald Sun last week.
“Before I made my statement I was reading up on the statistics of cybercrime over the (COVID) period and it was up 600 per cent … if I can be a voice for positive change then I will be.”
She said the support of Bellchambers, her partner for almost 18 months, had been vital.
The pair has also bought a place together in Daylesford.
“It’s been difficult for him over this period of being away from me and not being able to be there physically to support me, but he was everything and more than I needed at the time,” she said.
