David and Victoria Beckham ‘couldn’t be happier’ about son Brooklyn’s engagement
David and Victoria Beckham have announced they “couldn’t be happier” after eldest son Brooklyn confirmed his engagement to actress Nicola Peltz.

David and Victoria Beckham have expressed their joy over the engagement of 21-year-old son Brooklyn to American actress, Nicola Peltz.
“The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married!” Victoria Beckham wrote on Instagram.
“Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness We all love you both so much.”
Brooklyn Beckham confirmed the engagement on Instagram on Saturday (local time), writing, “‘Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you, baby.”
The 25-year-old actress responded by writing: “You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift.
“I love you so, so much baby.”
The couple shared identical photos to Instagram, which showed off Peltz’s new engagement ring and appeared to have been taken at the Beckhams’ English estate. More recently, the couple were isolating in New York.
The actress, who is best known for her role in the Transformers franchise, thanked Brooklyn’s younger sister Harper “for the pic”.
The Mirror reported that Brooklyn’s famous parents had given their son their blessing for the marriage.
The couple have been together for nine months but regularly post loved up pics and comments all over social media.
Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 15, also took to social media, posting the pic of the couple to their Instagram stories.
Brooklyn relocated to the US earlier this year to set up home with the actress. It was reported on Friday that the pair were planning to walk down the aisle after the 21-year-old told friends in Los Angeles that he had popped the question to the American actress.
There are reports that the ring cost close to $A300,000.
Brooklyn previously dated actress Chloe Grace Moretz and model Hana Cross, both aged 23.
