JESSIE Murphy will be glamorous and carefree on Monday night’s Brownlow red carpet.
The wife of Carlton skipper Marc Murphy was sporting a baby bump last year when she dazzled in the spotlight.
“It was a bit stressful, actually. Once I got there the nerves went, but this year is a lot better,’’ Murphy said.
“I don’t have to worry if my dress is going to explode; the pressure is off. It’s always a great time of year to get dressed up and collaborate with some of Australia’s best designers and stylists.”

Murphy will have eight-month-old son Max close by in a room at Crown Towers.
“It will be hard to leave Max, but he’ll be upstairs and he’s such a social butterfly and loves seeing other people so he probably won’t miss me at all,’’ she said.
“It’s nice to celebrate and relax and admire everyone else.
“I think just be yourself and have your own confidence. I know that’s easier said than done. But you’re with your partner on the night and there to support him. Just embrace what you’re wearing.”
Her stylist, Lana Wilkinson, also styling three other women on the night, expects to see a lot of bold and bright colours. She said: “This is my eighth Brownlow. If they go out feeling amazing then my job is done.”
“We don’t often get these events and fashion is fun so hopefully that’s what all my girls will be,’’ she said.
