Former Melbourne captain Brad Green has found new happiness with Channel 10 sports presenter, Caty Price.
The couple stepped out together for the first time at the MRC Foundation Blue Diamond Ball at Caulfield Racecourse.
They met during the Melbourne Cup Carnival last year and struck up a friendship soon after.
Last year the AFL community was rocked after the sudden death of Green’s wife Anna.
The 40-year-old mum and lifestyle blogger passed away in May, leaving behind Green and their two sons, Oliver and Wilba, aged seven and nine.
Demons champion Green, 38, has posted about his heartbreak and loss. He wrote an emotional tribute to his wife, who died peacefully following a cardiac arrest.
“Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end. It simply means, I’ll miss you until we meet again. Rest easy my darling #xxx3boys,” Green wrote.
Hundreds of mourners packed the Members Dining Room at the MCG for Anna’s funeral in June.
Those in attendance included AFL greats Neale Daniher, Michael Malthouse and many of Green’s former footy teammates.
