JENNIFER Lawrence’s hilarious text to her new BFF Amy Schumer after her Emmy win should probably get its own award.

COMEDIAN Amy Schumer took home her first Emmy last night and was inundated with congratulatory texts — including from her new BFF, Jennifer Lawrence.

“Jennifer sent me a really sweet text,” the Inside Amy Schumer star told Entertainment Tonight backstage after the show. “She said that I looked pretty but not smart.”

Far from being offended, the Trainwreck writer and actress gushed about her new pal’s comedic chops, opening up about the movie the two are working on together.

“She’s the real deal funny,” the 34-year-old said of Lawrence. “My sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together so we’re gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We’re busy.”

It was revealed last month that Lawrence and Schumer were writing a screenplay together.

“We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now,” Lawrence told the New York Times after going on a beach getaway with Schumer.

“Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavours. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages and we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.”

The A-list besties formed a friendship earlier this year after the 25-year-old emailed the comedian to praise her for her hit comedy Trainwreck.

“(I said), ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.’ We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting. We really hit it off, to say the least...”
