All this year’s Emmy winners with Shogun dominating TV’s big night

Hit shows like The Crown, The Bear and Hacks were all up for major awards, but one Netflix hit was a complete standout.

Emmys predictions for 2024

Father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy took on hosting duties at the 76th annual Emmy Awards in Hollywood today – the second time the Emmys have taken place this year, after last year’s awards were delayed several months due to the Hollywood writers’ strike.

In terms of nominations, acclaimed miniseries Shogun leads the pack with 25 nods, including Best Drama Series, with other top contenders including The Bear (23), Only Murders in the Building (21), True Detective: Night Country (19) and The Crown (18).

The Netflix hit Baby Reindeer was also a standout with its clean sweep, picking up four Emmy wins: Best Limited or Anthology Series, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Jessica Gunning and Outstanding Lead Actor for Richard Gadd.

Elizabeth Debicki, one of two Aussie stars nominated tonight (the other being Naomi Watts), won for her role as Princess Diana in The Crown. She was nominated last year but didn’t win.

“I didn’t write anything down because I’m very superstitious and now I’m in a real pickle,” she said in her brief speech.
