More coronavirus restrictions are set to ease on Sunday.
One of the biggest changes will be removing Melbourne’s “ring of steel” border between metro Melbourne and regional Victoria — which has separated since July 9.
There will also be no restrictions on the reasons to leave home.
Gyms will also reopen for the first time since July and Melbourne restaurants, cafes and pubs can increase their patronage indoors and outdoors.
According to the state’s roadmap for reopening, Victoria is on track to move to the last step of the plan when we see no new coronavirus cases for 14 days.
So far we have seen one week of zero new cases and deaths.
Victorians will find out if they can enter the ‘last step’ in the road map if we continue to record zero new daily cases until Friday 13 November.
Until then, here’s a round-up of all the changes we’re expecting to be announced onSunday November 8 at 11.59pm.
