A GOLD Coast mum is set to face court for allegedly stealing thousands from a state school Parents and Citizen Association.

Sharon Anne Sharp is to face court next month facing one count of fraud.

Police allege she used a bank card from the Coomera Springs P&C Association to buy about $2700 in personal items.

Sharp was allegedly a member of the P&C at the time.

It is understood she has paid back the money in recent months.

She is expected to face court on December 11.
