Dylan John Williams, 28, pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday to possessing a dangerous drug and possessing a relevant substance.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Reece Foort told the court Williams was a passenger in a grey Suzuki Swift they pulled over in Labrador on February 7, last year.
Williams was taken out of the car and as he sat on the side of the road he began to “heavily chew”.
Police demanded he spit what was in his mouth out.
“He spat out two clipseal bags of what is believed to be methamphetamine,” Sgt Foort said.

Williams’ solicitor Farshad Sarabi, of Hannay Lawyers, said Williams had recently done five months in drug rehabilitation.
He said Williams planned to return to full time work after getting hand surgery.

Magistrate Mark Howden said if they were dealt with on the same day Williams would not have received a harsher sentence.
He was convicted and not further punished.
