Two passenger buses and a car have been involved in a crash near Palm Beach on Wednesday afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokeswoman said the incident occurred on Laguna Ave near Tahiti Ave just before 2pm.

One of the buses involved in the crash was empty, while the other was transporting a small number of passengers, who are not believed to have been injured, the QAS spokeswoman said.

Paramedics assessed a female patient from a car who was later taken to Tweed Valley Hospital in a stable condition.

There is minimal impact to traffic.

More to come.
