Several men have been charged after an alleged brawl in Surfers Paradise overnight, with one man taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called to Cavill Ave about 3.05am Sunday morning after reports a group of men were fighting.
Five men were located at the scene when officers arrived, with three of them requiring treatment for various injuries.
An 18-year-old Helensvale man was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with a serious injury to his ear.
Police have charged a Warner man, 18, with grievous bodily harm. He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court at a later date.
Three other men from New South Wales – aged 18, 19, and 20 – have all been charged with affray and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on November 20.
